Day-1
Transfer to Gangtok-
At NJP railway station or Bagdogra Airport, you will be received by one of our representatives and transfer to Gangtok, nearly 135 kilometers which is a 4.5 to 5 hour drive.
This beautiful hill station is enriched with a wide variety of Rhododendron and butterflies.
After reaching, check into a pre-booked hotel for an overnight stay at Gangtok.
Day-2
Tour to Tsomgo Lake and Baba Mandir-
Next day, we will start out tour after taking a delicious breakfast at the hotel. We will bring you to Tsomgo Lake & Baba Mandir which is nearly 40 kilometers. The beautiful Tsomgo Lake lies at an altitude of 12,400 ft. It is covered in snow for most of the time in a year. On the banks of the lake lies a sacred Lord Shiva Mandir.
Next, we will drive out to Baba Mandir, a serene temple. The name of temple comes from the name of an army many, Baba Harbhajan Singh who sacrificed his life for the nation.
In the evening, we will get back to Gangtok for an overnight stay at the hotel.
Day-3
Drive to Lachen from Gangtok-
On the 3rd day, in the early morning after taking breakfast, we will drive to Lachen. It takes 5-6 hours. Lachen is a beautiful city of North Sikkim. Shingba Wildlife Sanctuary, Chopta Valley, and Thangu are the main attractions of this place.
After reaching, check into a hotel for an overnight stay.
Day-4
Excursion to Gurudongmar Lake and Drive to Lachung-
Next day, after having breakfast, we will bring you to Gurudongmar Lake and the 4 hours ride takes you on an adventure. The Gurudongmar Lake is nestled in a valley at an altitude of 11, 800 feet. The lake waters are frozen from December to April.
After having lunch, we will drive to the beautiful Rhododendron forest of Chopta Valley and Thangu.
Then we finally drive out to our next location, Lachung. This town is generally considered as the gateway to Yumthang Valley. Check into a hotel at Lachung and freshen up. You can also check out the Lachung Monastery in the evening time. Return to hotel for overnight stay and rest.
Day-5
Explore Yumthang Valley & drive to Gangtok:
Exploring the beauty of Yumthang Valley is also included in our North Sikkim sightseeing packages. On the 5th day, we will bring you to the Yumthang Valley. In spring this valley looks vibrantly colorful as this time Primulae, Rhododendrons and many other Alpine flowers are in full bloom.
After that, we will return to our Lachung hotel for Lunch. After having lunch, we will be driven back to Gangtok and check into the hotel in the evening. Overnight stay in the hotel.
Day-6
Journey back to home:
On the last day, after taking breakfast, we will check out from the hotel. And we will drop you to Bagdogra Airport or NJP railway station for your onward journey to back home.
